Syllabus

Students must be able to incorporate action skills for the courses concerned. For this purpose, the syllabus has been framed and the examiners of the Institute in marking papers will take into account logic of argument, insightful questioning and problem-solving.

Students are required to complete all the performance requirements before taking the examinations.? Students are required to write about 3,000words on each topic listed in the performance requirements.

There are three levels of CIM Professional Development Programs:

Association of Business Management (ABM)

  • Introduction to Business

  • Computer Methods in Business and Economics

  • Macroeconomics

  • Behavioral Science for Business

  • Principles of Accounting

  • Personnel Management

  • Organization & Management Theory

  • Introduction to Total Quality Management

 

This program is equivalent to a university's Associate Degree level, and is open to students who have at least three (3) years of working experience.

 

Graduate of Business Management (GBM)

  • Marketing Management

  • Principles of E-Commerce

  • Institutional Planning

  • Managerial Accounting

  • Business Process Re-Engineering

  • Principles of Total Quality Management

  • Ethics and Social Issues in Business

  • Internet Marketing Strategies

 

This program is equivalent to a university's Bachelor Degree level, and is open to students who have an Associate Degree, with five (5) years of working experience.

 

Fellow of Business Management (FBM)

  • Organization Design

  • Marketing in Action

  • Principles of Corporate Leadership

  • Business Strategy and Policy

  • Human Resources Management

  • Management Finance

  • Knowledge Management: Strategies & Applications

  • Knowledge Management: Systems & Auditing

  • Knowledge, Technologies & E-Commerce

 

This program is equivalent to a university's Master Degree level, and is open to students who have Bachelor Degree, with seven (7) years of working experience.
